So my roommate always likes to tell me about how he met Dion Phaneuf and Phil Kessel in an ice cream shop. He was in line and turned around and thought, “wow, that guy is angry.” Then he realized it was Phaneuf in line behind him so, he obviously freaked out a bit in his head. When he went to go say hi, Kessel just kept moving but, Phaneuf actually stuck around and talked to him for a bit.
I always love this story because its really sweet and makes me like Dion Phaneuf a bit but, then it also makes me think, what the fuck was Dion Phaneuf and Phil Kessel doing in an ice cream shop? Were they having a man date?
For the second time this year, Phil Kessel belts out the Canadian national anthem and reaches a new honorary Canadian status.
